Common Questions
Everything You Want to Ask.
How much do English classes near me cost in Muscat?+
Course fees depend on how many CEFR levels you need and whether you study in a small group or one-to-one, so we quote per learner rather than publish a single price. Every course starts with a free level test — after it we give you the exact number of levels and the total cost. No obligation to enrol.
How long does it take to reach a fluent English level?+
Reaching a professional working level (CEFR B2) from a beginner (A1) typically takes 8 to 12 months of consistent study at 3 to 5 hours per week. Reaching advanced fluency (C1) takes another 4 to 6 months. Wall Street English uses a structured method with clear level checkpoints so you always know where you stand.
Do you offer in-centre English classes in Muscat and Salalah?+
Our physical centre is at Al Araimi Boulevard, Al Seeb in Muscat. Salalah residents can join our live online classes from anywhere, or travel to the Muscat centre for in-person lessons. All course formats are available in both delivery methods.
Do I have to take a level test before joining an English class?+
Yes, and the level test is completely free. It takes about 30 minutes and includes a short conversation with a teacher, a written assessment, and a personalised study plan. The test tells us your exact CEFR level (A1 to C1) so we place you in the right class from day one.
What if I am a complete beginner in English?+
You are welcome. Wall Street English Oman teaches from A1 (complete beginner) all the way to C1 (advanced). Our beginner courses use a proven structured method that builds vocabulary, grammar, and speaking in parallel, so you never feel lost.
Are the teachers native English speakers?+
Yes. Every Wall Street English Oman teacher is a native English speaker (UK, US, Canada, Australia, Ireland, or New Zealand) with a minimum CELTA qualification. Many hold DELTA or MA TESOL qualifications and have taught in Oman for years.
Can I choose evening or weekend English classes?+
Yes. Wall Street English Oman runs lessons from Sunday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, plus Friday and Saturday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Working professionals typically book evening slots between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
Do you offer online English classes for people outside Muscat?+
Yes. Our live online classes cover all of Oman (Salalah, Sohar, Nizwa, Sur, Ibri, Khasab) plus students in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar. Same teachers, same syllabus, same method as our in-centre classes.
